~Crystals and Stones~

Crystals and stones have been used since the dawn of man on this planet for healing, protection, manifesting, decorating and adorning. For centuries crystals, gems, and semi precious stones have been worn by royalty, high ranking religious figures, and the wealthy, not only to display their social status, but also to protect them from harm, and increase their abundance. The ancient civilization of Atlantis is thought to have used crystals for healing and for drawing source energy to manifest plentiful crops by controlling the weather. Today many energy healers and medical doctors use crystals for healing. Crystals are used in lasers for surgeries, and used to amplify the healing energy of Reiki and all types of energy healing modalities.

Crystals and stones are found everywhere in the world, and come in many different of shapes and colors. Some individuals are highly attuned to, or sensitive to the energy of minerals and stones. They are drawn to them by their powerful vibration, abilities to protect,  amplify,  transform, and  transmute the energies around them. I have collected stones since I was a  little girl. Most of my warm weather days were spent searching for stones and crystals by my parents home. I loved them so much, I was constantly coming home with my arms and pockets filled with them. Now I have a rather large collection in my home. They help to keep the energy in my living environment at high and balanced state. I use them for healing, to amplify my psychic abilities, for meditation, and to support my energy field while I work. They are so beautiful and precious to me and most of the stones that I own have come to be in my possession because they literally called to me. I am especially attuned to their frequency and can hear them “humming” or “singing” to me.

Here is a short list of just some of my favorite stones that I use in my healing therapies:

Clear quartz – Amplifies energy, attunes energy to spiritual purpose and enhances metaphysical abilities.

Rose quartz – Great emotional healer, and opens the heart to unconditional love for all life.

Amethyst – Purifies the aura, encourages selflessness and spiritual wisdom.

Calcite – Calms the mind and balances the emotions.

Fluorite – Draws off negative energy and relieves stress.

Lapis – A multidimensional healer, lapis releases us from all emotional bondage, and heightens clairvoyance.

Selenite – Supports connections to angelic realms, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere and promotes mental clarity.

Labradorite – Helps to strengthen those going through transition. Heightens awareness and releases fear.

Malachite – Great stone of protection. Powerful cleanser of emotional damage from childhood and past lives.

If you are interested in collecting some stones and crystals for yourself, the best way to choose is to hold a stone that draws your attention in your left hand, allowing yourself to feel the energy of the stone. If it makes you feel peaceful and happy, then it is a good stone for you. Make sure that you take the time to learn about all the qualities of your stones and how to properly cleanse and charge them.

Stones and crystals are gifts of the earth. I encourage everyone to have the adventure starting a collection of their own!

Looking Closer At Karma And Reincarnation.

Recently I have had many people asking questions about karma and reincarnation. This isn’t surprising since these words have made it into our mainstream, on television shows and in everyday conversations. My boys were even toying around with using the word karma for part of their future rock band name. Even with these words being used everywhere, not everyone knows what they really mean or how they are effecting them in their current circumstances. Truly the answers aren’t that easy to explain or to understand. So settle in and read with an open heart and open mind.

The definition of karma as given by Websters Dictionary is: (Hinduism and Buddhism) The effects of a person’s actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation.

In Western culture we use such colloquialisms as ‘ What goes around comes around’ and ‘ You reap what you sow.’ This is connected to cause and effect and how action has an equal and opposite reaction. Karma is known as a universal law where the energy you send out, from your thoughts, feelings, choices and actions returns to you whether it is beneficial or harmful. Holding on to negative patterns mentally and emotionally results in a ripple effect on everyone and everything in our environment. The law of attraction, which has also become a very popular concept in our modern culture, then draws to us our matching energy. Again this can be good, bad or ugly depending on what we are sending out.

There are ways to break out of negativity and free ourselves from a negative or unpleasant karmic cycle. The most used methods are meditation, prayer or receiving some form of counseling. Incorporating meditation into our life, for example, allows us to enhance our emotional self-awareness and supports us in avoiding negative karma. In having that inner awareness, we are then able to move forward from the perspective of being in charge of our own destiny instead of a victim of circumstance. Choosing to come from a positive place within, we, through our higher vibrational energy, make choices and take action void of negativity. This acts to balance our karma and begins a shift that allows a flow of positive karmic energy to ripple out, negating any negative energy and drawing back to us bliss. Again, going back to the age-old ‘What you reap you will sow’ and ‘What goes around comes around.’

This is a lot to think about. I will continue more about karma and it’s relationship to reincarnation in my next few blogs. Until then…ponder your own karma and what experiences it has brought to your life.

Mother Nature’s Love.

Do you want to feel rejuvenated? Would you like to raise your vibration and experience a profound feeling of inner peace? If you answered yes to any of these questions, here is an idea for you that will allow you to achieve those wonderful benefits listed above.

Pick a morning in the next few days to wake up early and watch the sunrise. Drink in all the colors and how the light grows and changes the sky, landscape and the feeling of nature waking up. Allow yourself to slow your pace and really take in the exquisite beauty and all the miraculous forms in the world of nature.

We can get so caught up in our daily details of life. Our jobs, cars, computers, friends, families; that we forget that we are connected and a part of the natural world. That world that seems sometimes to only exist outside our windows. We are a part of it and it is a part of us. It enriches our entire being through our senses. When we are tired or sad it lifts our spirits and replenishes our souls.

If you have fallen out of the practice of taking in the healing energy of nature, give yourself the gift of communing with our beautiful Earth. You will be amazed at the flow of loving energy and blessings you will receive.

Love yourself as the infinite being that you are.

Far too many of us go through our daily lives struggling. Stuck in destructive habits and punishing ourselves with feelings of guilt and worrying about our worthiness to everyone around us.

A while ago Mother Mary said to me, “If you knew yourself as I know you, you could not help but to love yourself completely.” Hearing those beautiful words coming from Mother Mary’s lips, I knew that she was speaking divine truth to my very soul. I was moved and encouraged to look deeper within myself. Coming to a place of clarity about my true self and finding that place within helped me to remember the loving and beautiful person I am.

This advice has helped me to let go of negativity and connect to my own inner guidance, which is allowing me to move in the direction of happiness and abundance on every level. I know that we are all infinite beings, learning how to navigate through this world. We deserve to experience our dreams and desires. We all deserve to find our happiness in life.

Mother Mary gave this gift to me when she spoke those words. Now it is my purpose to help others who are searching to find the beauty within themselves as infinite beings.
