~The Powerful Healing Energy Of Reiki~

Reiki (pronounced Ray – key) is a the combination of two Japanese words – Rei and Ki. The meaning of the Rei is interpreted as: universal or spiritual, and holding a God-Consciousness.  Ki means the same as Chi in Chinese, Prana, in Sanskrit, and Ti or Ki in Hawaiian – these words all translating to: Life force or life energy. It is the God-Consciousness called Rei that guides the life force called Ki in the practice we call Reiki. Therefore, Reiki can be defined as a spiritually guided life force energy. This interpretation more closely describes the experience most individuals have with it. Reiki guided by Spirit, and having a Divine wisdom of it’s own, flows with a powerful yet gentle force through the hands of a Reiki attuned healer, to the client. Reiki then flows where ever in the body it needed, cleansing the chakras, aura, and physical tissue of any negative debris. It also helps in grounding the body, and balancing the mental, and emotional levels of the psyche. This creates a warm and nurturing sensation in the body, and allows the client to reap all of the benefits of a deeply peaceful state.

To become a Reiki healer you must receive training and attunements from a Reiki Master/Teacher. The Reiki energy is passed from the Reiki Master/Teacher to the student during the attunement process, and is then held within the student’s chakra system for the rest of their life. So, even if you never use the Reiki energy for healing others, once attuned with it the energy it remains with you throughout your life. The attunement process opens the crown, heart and palm chakras and creates a special link between the student and the Reiki energy. The student will then have the ability to feel, and let the Reiki energy flow from them during a healing. Receiving an attunement opens the chakras and activates the psychic centers of the body. Many students have reported an increase in psychic sensitivity or abilities after receiving a Reiki attunement.

Reiki can be used to help heal any physical, mental or emotional illness. Reiki can be very helpful in releasing addictions to cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. It also can be used to aid in weight loss, and making healthy life style changes. In very serious cases of illness, Reiki is meant to be used in combination with traditional medicine. It is very important to understand that Reiki can be used to enhance medical treatments for illnesses, and not in replacement of them.

Becoming a Reiki healer is a very beautiful, and spiritual experience. It has brought so much to my life, and I always have such a profound, and deep feeling of love when I perform a Reiki healing for a client. I imagine this feeling to be very close to how my Angels and Spirit Guides feel for me, as I come to them for guidance, and healing. It is such a high vibration energy, there is no room for negativity or judgement. It is a truly beautiful gift from Source!

~WISHES~

Remember when you were a child and were taught to make a wish when you blew your birthday candles out? What a tremendously magical experience! Whenever I make a wish or even think of something to wish for…it always takes me back to that feeling of excitement as child, when I would make wishes almost daily. In my house growing up as the youngest of seven children, I always got hand-me-downs, and was constantly sending wishes out for new items, that were bought especially for me, with tags still attached! Sometimes these wishes came true, and sometimes not…but I always felt excited over the prospect of what was going to come my way when I sent a wish out. I truly believed in the power that my wish held!

As a child I had several different things that I used as opportunities, or tools, for the magic of a wish to be granted to me. I wished on eye lashes that had come loose and fallen on my cheek, blowing dandelion seeds into the wind, the first star that I saw in the night sky, shooting or falling stars, pennies in fountain, blowing a candle out, and even on a curled up potato chip. All of these things held a special element of creative magic to use, to draw a wish in. I never worried about the details of how my wish was going to come into form for me, or when my wish would arrive. I just felt the awesome excitement over the grand possibilities of what was going to come. I was fully open to receive whatever the universe had in it’s bag of goodies for me, and I had the power of faith that all of those things could, and would come.

Growing up into my teenage, and young adult years, I began to let go of my habit of making wishes. If I did find myself in the frame of mind to think about making a wish, I would analyze the hell out of it, and basically talk myself out of the possibility of a wish coming true. I got too caught up in the details…the hows, and the whys of everything that would have to fall into place, at just the right time for my wish to really happen. I had forgotten the most important ingredient of how to make a wish come true…“believing in magic!”

Over the years I have figured this secret out again, and allowed myself to get back to the wonderfully open-minded, open to magically possibilities, energy that I had held as a child. This really works! I have had many of my wishes come true right before my eyes! I think about what I would like happen in my life, and I send my wish out…remembering all those feelings that I felt as a child. Then I just smile, and leave it up to the universe to grant my wish! I know that the pure, high vibration energy that I have flowing within me about my wish will draw it in for me. My energy then matches the energy of beautiful, high vibration things that I am wishing for. Then the universe has to deliver to me matching forms of energy. I am using the law of attraction to bring my wish into form.

My Angels tell me that when we send out a wish for something, they see it like fireworks shooting out from our crown chakra. It has wonderful energetic power, and it works like a magnet pulling in raw creative energy from the highest realms, that it then shapes, and molds into the form that matches our vibrational energy we attach to it. The more we stay connected to our wishes with the pure, high energy of excitement, the more powerful our energetic magnet wish is!  They reminded me that we are Divine creative beings! We can, and do create constantly…and we do it just like “magic.” So…try this out today…look up at the sky and pretend you are blowing the seeds of a dandelion out into the universe, carrying the beautiful, magnetic energy of whatever you wish for on them…then just allow yourself to feel excited about what’s going to happen!

~Violet Flame Meditation~

As promised…here is a wonderful meditation that I often use to invoke the violet flame.

Light a few candles and put on some soft, relaxing music. Then sit comfortably either with your feet flat on the floor or sitting cross-legged directly on the floor. Now begin doing some breath work, this helps to cleanse the systems of the body and center the mind. Breathing in for 4 seconds, holding your breath for 2 seconds, then releasing your breath for 4 seconds. Do this 4-2-4 breathing about 5 times, or until you feel complete with it, then allow yourself to flow into a normal, comfortable breathing pattern. This technique adds more oxygen to your blood which carries it through out your body and to your brain. Restoring all of your organs and tissue with pure, clean, ion filled oxygen, bringing clarity to the mind and balance to the body. Now imagine a small flame burning directly in front of you and as you focus on this flame it begins to grow, forming a circle all around your body. The color of flame as it grows turns to many different hues of violet, purple, electric blue and white sparkles within it. Focusing on the beauty of the flame and feeling the loving, peaceful energy emanating from it, you will then feel it spreading through your aura, strengthening and purifying it. Now begin to draw the flame within you by taking some deep breaths, actually breathing it into your lungs and allowing it to spread through you. Say to yourself, and the to the flame, “I am one with the violet flame.” Say this to yourself 7 times, imagining the flame connecting with each chakra, beginning with the root chakra at the base of your tail bone and moving up through each the chakras. The violet flame is then linked with you on every level, purifying, cleansing and aligning you with the Divine. Now say to yourself all the positive messages that come to mind, as the violet flame intensifies your energy,  your intentions, and raises your vibration. This is a good time to think about all the joyful things that you want to manifest in your life. Form follows thought and the violet flame supports you to bring forth the highest, most positive forms for yourself.

Enjoy this beautiful spiritual practice as often as you feel compelled to do so. It is an unlimited, Divine and powerful force! The violet flame is a gift to us all!

~The Aura~

The aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body, every organism, and object in the universe. We all generate an auric field around our bodies whether we see, sense or feel them.

The human energy field carries a collection of electro-magnetic energies that permeate through and exit or emit from the physical body of a living person. These particles of energy are suspended around the body in an oval shaped field. The egg shaped field emits from the body approximately 2-3 feet on all sides. It also extends about the head and below the feet into the ground.

The aura consists of seven layers, levels or bodies. Each one of the subtle layers that exists around the physical body has its own unique frequency. They are related to and affect one another and the behavior, feelings, way of thinking and health. So any state of imbalance in one of the bodies leads to a state of imbalance in the others. Each body is also directly connected to each of the seven chakras of the body. The aura then carries the colors of whatever chakras are the most active or carrying the most energy. So for example a person who is a healer would primarily have the colors of the heart and upper chakras shining and connecting with the auric bodies. While a person who works in a more physical and creative job like a dancer would have the colors of the lower chakras, like the root and sacral chakras.

The Auric bodies and your needs on each level of the auric field:

* 1st level – Physical auric body. Physical sensations, pleasure, simple physical comfort, and health.

* 2nd level – Etheric auric body. Self acceptance and self love, emotions in respect to true self.

*3rd level – Vital Auric body. Rational mind, understanding a situation in a clear, rational way.

*4th level – Astral (emotional) body. Relations with others, loving involvement with family and friends.

*5th level – Lower mental Auric body. Divine will within, to connect with the divine will within, and to make a commitment to speak and flow with one’s own truth.

* 6th level – Higher mental auric body. Divine love and spiritual bliss.

* 7th level – Spiritual (intuitive) body. Divine mind, serenity, and to be connected to the divine mind and have an understanding of the greater universal pattern, connection to oneness.

I will explain the meanings behind the colors of the aura in my next blog. Until then try this basic exercise in how to sense or feel your own aura.

Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Take 5 full deep breathes, imagining with each exhaled breath that you are releasing all negativity from your body and aura, and with each deep breath in you are adding light and recharging your energy field or aura. Now reach your hands out in front of you with your palms flat in front, like you are ready to push against a wall. You may feel a subtle tingling in your palms, or a sensation like you are skimming your palms against  the calm surface of warm water. Then bring your palms together in front of you about 2 inches apart and feel the energy generating between your hands. That is your electromagnetic field or your aura. So cool right!

Looking Closer At Karma And Reincarnation II

The soul is limitless and eternal. It is a spark from the divine flame, carrying all the gifts, abilities and unlimited aspects of that flame. The flame being the source of all creation, all that is, God/Goddess. Existing as a spark from that flame we can create, think, feel, dream and learn. Through countless lives (in body) or experiences interacting with other souls, we are able to gain vast amounts of knowledge, resulting in unimaginable expansion and growth. This is why karma and reincarnation go hand in hand. Through our many experiences with all the forms that Spirit takes we are transcending… transforming… it is a supremely beautiful process.

The definition of reincarnation as given by Websters dictionary is: 1: Rebirth in new bodies or forms of life; birth of a soul in a new human body; a fresh embodiment.

Here is some information that Spirit has presented to me: In our dimension we have the understanding that everything exists and has always existed in linear time. In the higher dimensions, where our essence began, linear time is not observed. When you ascend out of your body at the end of your life and your soul joins its source in the ethers, it observes its in-body experiences or lives as all happening at once and drawing energy and knowledge from all of those experiences at the same time. It knows it to be one vast experience of its own omnipresent self. So, in truth, we have what we call past lives and we also live alternate lives and have access to all of them. Some call this the omniverse which coincides with areas of quantum physics (which I love and will probably blog about in the future).

There are many different views and beliefs attached to karma and reincarnation and whether they even exist. Most people have established perceptions on both of these concepts depending on their culture and religious upbringing.

I know for myself, having had many past or alternate life experiences brought forth to conscious mind, that I most definitely have had and am having many in body growth experiences or lives. I have a very clear connection to them and know that most of the important people I have interacted with in this life have had other lives with me, and that we are tied together by the choice of our souls and by karma. You have karmic ties to others when you have exchanged energy with them and that energy requires balance. Like I said in my previous article, this can be a beneficial or harmful energetic exchange. There is much expansion and growth to gain from both kinds of energy.

I will be diving into these topics further in Friday, with some examples of my own karma and reincarnation experiences. Until then examine some of your most powerful connections in your relationships and see how you feel about your own karmic ties.
