~The Powerful Healing Energy Of Reiki~

Reiki (pronounced Ray – key) is a the combination of two Japanese words – Rei and Ki. The meaning of the Rei is interpreted as: universal or spiritual, and holding a God-Consciousness.  Ki means the same as Chi in Chinese, Prana, in Sanskrit, and Ti or Ki in Hawaiian – these words all translating to: Life force or life energy. It is the God-Consciousness called Rei that guides the life force called Ki in the practice we call Reiki. Therefore, Reiki can be defined as a spiritually guided life force energy. This interpretation more closely describes the experience most individuals have with it. Reiki guided by Spirit, and having a Divine wisdom of it’s own, flows with a powerful yet gentle force through the hands of a Reiki attuned healer, to the client. Reiki then flows where ever in the body it needed, cleansing the chakras, aura, and physical tissue of any negative debris. It also helps in grounding the body, and balancing the mental, and emotional levels of the psyche. This creates a warm and nurturing sensation in the body, and allows the client to reap all of the benefits of a deeply peaceful state.

To become a Reiki healer you must receive training and attunements from a Reiki Master/Teacher. The Reiki energy is passed from the Reiki Master/Teacher to the student during the attunement process, and is then held within the student’s chakra system for the rest of their life. So, even if you never use the Reiki energy for healing others, once attuned with it the energy it remains with you throughout your life. The attunement process opens the crown, heart and palm chakras and creates a special link between the student and the Reiki energy. The student will then have the ability to feel, and let the Reiki energy flow from them during a healing. Receiving an attunement opens the chakras and activates the psychic centers of the body. Many students have reported an increase in psychic sensitivity or abilities after receiving a Reiki attunement.

Reiki can be used to help heal any physical, mental or emotional illness. Reiki can be very helpful in releasing addictions to cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. It also can be used to aid in weight loss, and making healthy life style changes. In very serious cases of illness, Reiki is meant to be used in combination with traditional medicine. It is very important to understand that Reiki can be used to enhance medical treatments for illnesses, and not in replacement of them.

Becoming a Reiki healer is a very beautiful, and spiritual experience. It has brought so much to my life, and I always have such a profound, and deep feeling of love when I perform a Reiki healing for a client. I imagine this feeling to be very close to how my Angels and Spirit Guides feel for me, as I come to them for guidance, and healing. It is such a high vibration energy, there is no room for negativity or judgement. It is a truly beautiful gift from Source!

* Archangel Michael~ Meaning – “Who is like unto God.” Michael holds a flaming sword, which he uses to cut away negativity and fear. Michael is thought to be the first Archangel created and he is very powerful! His main qualities are strength, protection, and truth. He is also a supportive force for helping lightworker’s in achieving their life’s purpose, by encouraging us to follow the truth in our hearts without fear. He can also be called on for help with anything electrical or mechanical like, computers, phones, and cars. I also call on Michael if I am feeling threatened in any situation, or if I have been having bad dreams. He always comes to me when I call and he feels so loving, and safe to me. I always feel so much better with him by side and I feel as if he adds his power to my own strength and integrity. I usually see a lot of blue and violet sparkles of light when Michael is near.

* Archangel Gabriel~ “The Divine strength of God.” Gabriel is called the “Messenger Angel” and is known for being the Angel who brought the message to Mary that she would give birth to her son Jesus. Gabriel is the only Archangel that is depicted as being female. She is very powerful and loves to support artists like, musicians, writers, painters, performers, and communicators. Gabriel supports us seeing, and understanding our life’s path. I call on Gabriel to help with interpreting dreams, and communicating with souls who have crossed over. She is great for getting me inspired for my writing projects and preparing for teaching a class as well. Gabriel also told me that she has the ability to grant wishes!  I see silver flashes of light when Gabriel is near. It is important to note that Gabriel also appears as male sometimes too, but when I call on Gabriel, she always appears as female.

* Archangel Raziel~ Meaning – “He who sees Truth.” Raziel appears to me looking like a wizard. He has beautiful, flowing white hair and beard. I see a rainbow of sparkles when Raziel is near me and he always carries a staff with glowing colorful orbs of light in it. Raziel uses sacred geometry for healing and Divine magic when he works with me. He also helps me with all of my psychic abilities, and assists me with astral travel. You may call on Raziel to help you open up your psychic abilities and to understand high level information. He is very kind and he inspires me to be open to new ideas, and encourages me in being an eternal student, always eager to learn more about our unlimited universe.

* Archangel Raphael~ Meaning – “Divine Healer of God” Raphael is very loving and kind! He always speaks to me in a soft, sweet voice and has a beautiful smile. He gives me advise like, the best way to heal myself is to find reasons to smile and laugh daily. I see lots of swirling green sparks when Raphael is near. Raphael is a very powerful healer and supports all forms of healing. I call on Raphael to assist me when I am performing a healing, and he helps me with clearing away any negative debris left behind from a healing. He also helps when you need encouragement to maintain healthy lifestyle habits, of exercise and a balanced diet. If you need healing or support in making healthy lifestyle changes, then call on Raphael!

* Archangel Haniel~ Meaning – “Full of God’s Grace” Haniel is another Archangel that appears as a female when she comes to me. Haniel is an Angel of clairvoyance, and she helps me to see, and understand the visual images that I receive. She also guides me with what kinds of crystals, and stones I should use during a healing for myself, or for a client. She helps me to keep calm in frustrating situations by helping me to see the beauty, and Divine light in everything. If I am speaking in front of a large group of people Haniel always helps to raise my vibration, and to soothe my mind. When Haniel is near I always see sparks of pink, and light blue.

If you wish to call on any of the Archangels here are a few tools that will help you to begin. You may start by putting on some soft music, and lighting a large white candle. When you light the candle, say a prayer, setting your intention to communicate directly with the Archangels. Sitting quietly in front of the candle, take a few deep breathes, to add fresh oxygen to your body, and brain. Then the first Archangel’s name that comes to mind is the one to start your communication with. Invoke the Archangel by saying their name, in a chanting fashion, 7 times. This helps you to raise the frequency of your vibration to match the Archangel you are wishing to communicate with. After invoking the Angel by chanting their name, then just begin your conversation with them, by telling why you have called on them, and asking for their guidance. After telling the Angel what you want help with, allow yourself to get very relaxed, and quiet so that you may receive their subtle messages. Sometimes this will sound like your own voice speaking to you inside your mind, and don’t second guess this, as sometimes in the beginning this how they will sound to you. Always remember to write down all of the thoughts, feelings, visuals, and words you’ve received. End by thanking the Angels and letting them know that you are open for communication with them at any time. Practice this method until you feel comfortable that you have established a strong connection. Remember to allow yourself to have fun with this process. The Angels will connect with you more smoothly if your vibration is high, and happy people have a high vibration!

~Crystals and Stones~

Crystals and stones have been used since the dawn of man on this planet for healing, protection, manifesting, decorating and adorning. For centuries crystals, gems, and semi precious stones have been worn by royalty, high ranking religious figures, and the wealthy, not only to display their social status, but also to protect them from harm, and increase their abundance. The ancient civilization of Atlantis is thought to have used crystals for healing and for drawing source energy to manifest plentiful crops by controlling the weather. Today many energy healers and medical doctors use crystals for healing. Crystals are used in lasers for surgeries, and used to amplify the healing energy of Reiki and all types of energy healing modalities.

Crystals and stones are found everywhere in the world, and come in many different of shapes and colors. Some individuals are highly attuned to, or sensitive to the energy of minerals and stones. They are drawn to them by their powerful vibration, abilities to protect,  amplify,  transform, and  transmute the energies around them. I have collected stones since I was a  little girl. Most of my warm weather days were spent searching for stones and crystals by my parents home. I loved them so much, I was constantly coming home with my arms and pockets filled with them. Now I have a rather large collection in my home. They help to keep the energy in my living environment at high and balanced state. I use them for healing, to amplify my psychic abilities, for meditation, and to support my energy field while I work. They are so beautiful and precious to me and most of the stones that I own have come to be in my possession because they literally called to me. I am especially attuned to their frequency and can hear them “humming” or “singing” to me.

Here is a short list of just some of my favorite stones that I use in my healing therapies:

Clear quartz – Amplifies energy, attunes energy to spiritual purpose and enhances metaphysical abilities.

Rose quartz – Great emotional healer, and opens the heart to unconditional love for all life.

Amethyst – Purifies the aura, encourages selflessness and spiritual wisdom.

Calcite – Calms the mind and balances the emotions.

Fluorite – Draws off negative energy and relieves stress.

Lapis – A multidimensional healer, lapis releases us from all emotional bondage, and heightens clairvoyance.

Selenite – Supports connections to angelic realms, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere and promotes mental clarity.

Labradorite – Helps to strengthen those going through transition. Heightens awareness and releases fear.

Malachite – Great stone of protection. Powerful cleanser of emotional damage from childhood and past lives.

If you are interested in collecting some stones and crystals for yourself, the best way to choose is to hold a stone that draws your attention in your left hand, allowing yourself to feel the energy of the stone. If it makes you feel peaceful and happy, then it is a good stone for you. Make sure that you take the time to learn about all the qualities of your stones and how to properly cleanse and charge them.

Stones and crystals are gifts of the earth. I encourage everyone to have the adventure starting a collection of their own!

Forgiveness.

We have all been deeply hurt at one time or another through the words or actions of another. We have also, all done some damage of own towards others. I know for myself that I have hurt and offended others without even being fully aware that I had done so.

When someone hurts us or vice-versa… what do we, as humans beings, normally do? Do we hang onto our anger and resentment, bringing forth thoughts of revenge and rage , or do we decide to embrace forgiveness and move forward? Truly moving forward includes moving on without holding onto grudges or bitterness. This can be a very daunting task that sometimes takes us years to accomplish. I am still learning how to truly forgive. It’s really difficult to allow all your wounds to heal. Especially if the people who have caused those wounds have never given you an apology. Sometimes, even if the other person does apologize, we are wound up so tightly with our anger and our unforgiveness, that we simply refuse to accept an olive branch when offered to us. These pent-up negative feelings can cause horrible damage to our relationships, careers, families and to our own bodies. I believe that many devastating illnesses and conditions that manifest within the body at times stem from harboring bitterness and unforgiveness towards others and for ourselves.

When I have had times of really feeling hurt and angry towards someone for transgressions against me, my angels/guides have said to me “Remember that you are all doing what you can with the knowledge, awareness and energy that you have to work with… and as you change and evolve, through experiences with one another, you grow in your ability to maintain grace and peace together.” They also remind me that I am the true creator of every relationship and situation that I draw to me and am not ever a victim. This divine guidance has helped me to take some of the emotion out of hurtful exchanges and release my judgment of others who have offended me. I still feel the initial sting when someone wounds me, but I have a much easier time letting go of it when I remember these messages from spirit.  With these gifts of knowledge I am able to release my resentment and hurt, allowing me to put things into perspective and have understanding, compassion, and even empathy for those who have offended me. The wounds may remain in my memory, or may have caused permanent changes in my life, but I am free of the grip of bitterness or grudges which can truly hurt me in the long run.

Forgiveness, however, doesn’t mean that you deny the other person’s responsibility or erase the act. What it does is help you to lift yourself out of the negative energy of the wrongful act. When you forgive you set yourself free from being imprisoned by negativity. Being a person who has the ability to forgive allows you to move away from the role of victim. You take back your power and release the offending person’s or the situation’s power it has had in your life. In having this awareness and truly owning your power, you will no longer define yourself or your life by how hurt you have been. You then have the power to define yourself as a being of grace and serenity within.

The Dark Night Of The Soul.

The Dark Night Of The Soul is a metaphor that is used to describe a time in a person’s spiritual life, that manifests as a time of struggle along with a sense of loneliness or isolation. This is a common experience for individuals who are seeking growth and spiritual maturity as they walk the path towards their union with God, The Source Of All Creation, or All That Is.

The origin of The Dark Night Of The Soul comes from a poem, under that title, that was written by 16th century poet and Roman Catholic mystic Saint John Of The Cross. This poem describes the hardships he endured as a Carmelite priest, while he was imprisoned by his Carmelite brothers who were opposed to his reformation to their order. During this phase in one’s spiritual life, you may feel that you are in the midst of a spiritual crisis that affects everything in your world. This period of time is referred to as “dark” because you feel that you are disconnected from the light or that somehow God has forsaken you. You feel prayer and all the ways that you used to gain comfort from spirit, to allow you to sustain your faith, have suddenly lost their value and left you bereft. This leads to being stripped of parts of your psyche, ego and former perceptions of self and of God.

This is truly a blessing in disguise as it makes way within the conscious/concrete mind for an awakening or quickening of the soul. Having to take your steps forward in faith, and seemingly alone, rewards you with a sense of strength and courage that you may not have found or known within yourself otherwise. It actually opens your eyes more fully to Divinity and strengthens your connection and your awareness of your own value. Usually having come through this phase of your spiritual life restores your soul to higher state of being and you will have fewer experiences in which to question your value again. Finding within you, your hearts true home.

For those of you who feel that you are experiencing The Dark Night Of The Soul, let me tell you from my own personal experience and from the experiences of some beautiful people who are close to me, that even though you feel isolated and as if you are in the center of a devastating storm…don’t lose faith and you are absolutely not alone! You will find your strength and make it through this time and as you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel you will be a stronger and wiser soul for it!

As Jesus has said to me “The death of the old brings forth life renewed.”

Looking closer at Karma and Reincarnation III, Conclusion.

I promised to talk further about these fascinating topics and to tell about my personal experiences, so, here are some examples. In respect of individuals’ privacy I am not going to mention names or specifics about some of these relations that would lead to identifying them. My son Connor, however, has given me his full permission to talk about our connection to each other in reference to karma and reincarnation. He is a very open soul!

I know that I had karmic ties with a former lover. This was due to the fact that in another soul interaction I deserted him. This caused a buildup of harmful energy between our souls. So, in this life we returned to each other for the purpose of balancing that energy, which was accomplished with his choice to desert me. I understand that this is what was meant to be and gave him complete forgiveness. Now our connection is neutral and balanced. “You reap what you sow.”

Another personal experience of mine was with former student. This student had always held a deep connection to my heart and I felt an enormous sense of obligation to give far more support and encouragement to this particular student than I would in any other teacher – student relationship. My spirit guides showed me that in another life with this person I had been the student and they had been my mentor who had basically taken me in as their own child and supported me for years. So, now I was experiencing the other side of that in order to balance out the positive energy that was exchanged. “What goes around comes around.”

Lastly, I will tell of my relationship to my son Connor. He and I have shared repeated soul connections, or lives, and in each one he dies and leaves me to grieve the loss of my child. In this life it is his soul’s intention to follow through with our parent-child relationship and see it through it’s natural progression;  a child eventually sees their parent die and lives past them. It is my soul’s intention to support him in this and not go through the horrible heartache of losing a child again. Connor just wrapped up a year of chemotherapy treatments and surgeries after developing cancer. Now he is free of the disease and growing stronger every day. I have faith that we are fulfilling our soul contract and balancing out our karma in this life.

In conclusion, I leave you with a few things to think about. We all, every single one of us, picked our parents before our soul was brought back into body. We also sign on to have many other soul connections based on our karmic ties, but our parents are very important as they kind of set the stage for who we are and what our genetic and personality traits are. Think about that and see if it creates a shift in the dynamics of your relationship with your parents and also your children, if you are a parent.

I have enjoyed sharing my experiences with karma and reincarnation and the great comments from you. Maybe we will find ourselves here again, but until then, remember that your true power is in the present moment! Not the past or the future. Make your happiness here and now!! That is the secret!

Focus On Healing For Haiti.

It has been extremely heart wrenching for me and I am sure for all of you who are watching the news stories and images coming from the destructive force of the January 12 earthquake in Haiti. It also fills my heart with hope and love for those who are suffering and the many fine people who are reaching out a hand to help them.

I feel that it is time for us to truly come together, putting money and politics aside, to act as a world community for a change. Life on this planet is changing…so we are all called to change and evolve with it. There is a paradigm shift that is taking place right now! That is urging us to shift away from actions taken from the skewed perceptions of small minds, limited by anger, greed and fear. Our survival and the survival of those devastated in Haiti, depends on all of  us coming together, united in the goal of improving all life on this planet.

I applaud Pennsylvania’s Governor, Ed Randell for his heroic actions, in pulling his weight and political connections to extract 53 orphans from the rubble in Haiti. This is a truly amazing man who went with his heart to make a real difference! Please check out this story!! It is one of the best feel good stories to come from the media since President Obama was elected!

Healing Power Of Sound.

Did you know that sound vibrations hold the power to heal? Everything in all the universe vibrates. We and everything that surrounds us is in the constant state of vibration. Trees, rocks, the chair you are sitting on, the computer in front of you and your body are all vibrating right now! It is truly amazing how all the delicate, little bones and pieces of the inner ear works as tiny receptors for translating sound vibrations.

Sound really does move us, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Sonic vibration has been used since the dawn of man to heal. Some of the first forms used were drumming and chanting. Ancient cultures recognized the healing power of sound and developed it into a sacred science. This has been documented back to Ancient Egypt and thought to have  been a highly developed practice for healing and spiritual rituals used in the Ancient city of Atlantis.

Many healers still use sound as a form of healing today. Some of the current methods use bells, chimes, crystal singing bowls, drums, tuning forks and, of course, music. Certain tones and musical notes actually correspond to and connect with each of the seven chakras. Using sound therapy can help to clear energy blockages in our subtle energy systems and also affects our brain waves, helping the body and all it’s systems to return to a balanced and harmonious state of being.

So the next time you turn the volume up for a song that just makes you feel good…you are actually performing your own self healing!

Mother Nature’s Love.

We can get so caught up in our daily details of life. Our jobs, cars, computers, friends, families; that we forget that we are connected and a part of the natural world. That world that seems sometimes to only exist outside our windows. We are a part of it and it is a part of us. It enriches our entire being through our senses. When we are tired or sad it lifts our spirits and replenishes our souls.

Revealing Our True Selves.

Most everyone has masks that they wear or certain roles they play in their daily lives. When we are born, we all start out these wonderful authentic little beings. We function for years in our childhood being very pure in our true essence. Then slowly we are conditioned through our environment and society to alter or conform to what pleases others around us. Makings them more comfortable by mirroring their behavior.

Underneath all of that, our true selves still exist, whether we acknowledge this or not. Buried under learned behavior and sometimes fear.

When we allow ourselves to look within, we recognize our divinity, our true power. When we reach the core of our true essence, we then cannot help but live our lives with authenticity. That is when we are fulfilled, grateful, full of potential and grace.

There are many ways to liberate ourselves from the bonds that have compelled us to downplay our uniqueness. Meditation, prayer and communing with nature are all very powerful tools for self-realization and healing. Allow yourself to go within and embrace your true self. Let your light shine, free from the fear of perceived consequences. This is the path to true freedom, inner peace and greatest happiness.
