The Pineal Gland ~ Third Eye.
The Pineal Gland is located deep in the center of the brain. It is about the size of a raisin, and is lodged in a tiny cave behind the ocular nerves of the eyes. The pineal gland was the last gland of the endocrine system to be discovered, and it’s true function has been studied, scrutinized and contemplated for thousands of years.
What is known about it’s physiological function, is that the pineal gland works as a timekeeper for the human body, and it controls many of the body’s biorhythms. The Pineal Gland is a photosensitive organ, meaning that it reacts to light. The retinas of the eyes, send information through the sympathetic nerve system to the pineal gland, which then translates these impulses, and controls the release of certain hormones in the brain – like melatonin. Melatonin is a naturally occurring compound that causes drowsiness and lowers the body temperature. In humans, this is part of the body’s systems that help to regulate the sleep-wake cycles. The pineal gland allows production of melatonin at night, or when the eyes are receiving less light, and inhibits melatonin production during the day, when the eyes receive more light. The pineal gland, along with the hypothalamus gland, also controls the body’s sexual desires, hunger, thirst, and the our biological clock that controls our aging process. The pineal gland also begins to shrivel, and to calcify starting with the onset of puberty. Another major factor that affects the pineal gland, and is proven to cause it to atrophy, is the use of fluoride. Fluoride, when absorbed into the body through the use of toothpaste, fluorinated water, soft drinks, and certain foods, is absorbed directly into the pineal gland, where it accumulates and adds to process of calcification.
The facts of how the pineal gland functions physiologically has only recently been found, while for many centuries, Ancient man has long considered it to be the connecting link between the Spiritual and the physical. It is the “Third Eye”. When it is healthy, activated, or awakened it opens up the psychic centers of the individual, allowing them to experience, clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, telepathic communication, and travel of the astral body through the Higher Dimensions. When one activates the pineal gland/third eye there is a vibration, tingling, or feeling of pressure at the base of brain, which may cause many sensations throughout the head and body. It is the organ of high Spiritual communication, Divine knowledge, and inner vision. It has been called “The God Organ”, “The Seat Of The Soul”, and “The Light In The Head” – All referring to it’s function in supporting humans in their connection Spirit.
There are many techniques that help to awaken the pineal gland, or third eye. Some of the best ways to activate the third eye is through meditation, prayer, and caring for the body by avoiding the use of fluoride. When you practice the different methods of activating the pineal gland, it strengthens your brains ability to hold higher frequencies, and the third eye is opened to a greater degree, allowing you to connect with the Higher Realms, bringing you into a state of peace, as you experience the natural loving flow of the Universe.
Here are some of the benefits of activating the Pineal Gland – Third Eye:
* Allows you to develop and master your psychic abilities.
* Strengthens your connection to the Divine Creator, and all life.
* Raises the frequency, or vibratory rate of the body and the aura, increasing energy, and alleviating the effects of illness, or disease.
* Energizes all the dormant areas of the brain, allowing for more use of our untapped potential – As we are all Multidimensional Beings in human form.
* Slows, and possibly reverses the aging process.

* Encourages, and assists in directing the healthy flow of the Kundalini.

Blessings,
Karen~

Gifts Of Creating And Maintaining An Altar.
Creating your own sacred space, or an altar, doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated. An altar is simply a small space, that you create, where you place beautiful and meaningful objects to symbolize your true essence and positive energy. Altars can also focus on manifesting your own personal desires. For example, in many different cultures and for many centuries, a Wishing Tree or Kissing Tree has commonly been used as a sort of community altar, for manifesting wishes and desires. So going with that magical idea, the newest altar that I am setting up in my home, with my family, is a beautiful indoor tree or plant, surrounded with some of my favorite stones/crystals. Near the tree, is a bowl containing decorative strips of paper and string. The family and anyone who visits our home, will be invited to write down a wish on one of the strips of paper and then gently tie it to a branch of our “Wishing Tree.” The idea being, that as the tree grows all of our wishes are fulfilled! This concept can fill your home with the energy of hope, faith and help to support the belief that a positive frame of mind can produce positive outcomes.
My own personal altar holds flowers, crystals/stones, candles and photos. This represents a sacred space for me to connect to spirit and my higher self. I sometimes write down affirmations for myself and place them on or near my altar to help with reminding me of my own desires and my personal power.
Remember that an altar doesn’t have to be based in any religion or specific set of beliefs or ideas. It should be a special place in your home that displays an expression of you and makes you feel good. An alter is a wonderful way to bring a flow of positive energy to your home and a little bit of magic into your life.
I maintain my altars by spending a few moments every day making sure that they are clean and hold items that are meaningful to me at the present time. I also spend time everyday near my altars in meditation and prayer. This practice helps me to be grounded, peaceful and serene!
Blessings,
Karen~
